What happened to Trapper's leg, does anyone know?

He had emergency surgery. I am pretty sure it was a blood clot in it. My GF had those a lot when we were in junior high school.

I wonder how long their shooting schedule is.

I think you correct I heard it was Blood Clots too..Dangerous hope he stay's healthy.

Captain Phil Harris from Deadliest Catch, before having a massive stroke, had a pulmonary embolism that was the result of a blood clot in his leg.

It was a blood clot, I've had them twice. I was luckier than him, no surgery. On his IMDb page it says he played Safety in the NFL in the early 80s. Wonder if it's from that, also bent legs for long periods of time causes them.
