What are the eras?

I had a hard time figuring out the era, the clothing in the early scenes is 70's maybe? The later scenes the 90's? Does anyone know?

Good question. Things I know: the entire series (like the book) spans 25 years, and much of the location is in Crosby, a made up "small town." I can't remember any dates being thrown around in the book or show (maybe someone else here can), so my best guess is that the show begins early-mid 1980's, and ends mid-late 2000's. (Book was published 2008)

This is probably right. Denise's hair in ep 2 was very late 80s or early 90s.

In the 4th episode, there are TSA agents at the airport. Those are the only clues I can think of.

Only watched the first episode so far. "Sad Eyes" is playing in the pharmacy (it's from 1979) and the female lounge singer is singing "Magic" which is summer of 1980.
