Season 3 was fun BUT I have some complaints. SPOILERS!!!
I enjoyed the final season overall but I learned to put up with the wokeness during earlier seasons. I considered the show to be a bit woke due to its conscious casting but the story is still cool.
Season three starts off with the gay uncle's interracial wedding and they also out a supporting character when the heroes go into his head to retrieve a hidden key. The sexuality of the supporting character is irrelevant but they show on big screens the turmoil of the supporting character hiding his sexuality and sharing a kiss with his boyfriend. I don't mind a few gay characters BUT I don't need to see a gay wedding or to even go inside a character's head to see his gay memories.
I also didn't like that the Locke family decided to throw the keys into the portal at the end of the show. The keys closed the portal BUT I'm sure a clever demon could gather the keys and use them to create a new gate. I haven't read the comics so I wonder if this is close to how it went down in the comics. The whole show revolves around those keys and the writers just got rid of them.
I still enjoyed the lore and the show. It's worth watching the show if one can handle the Netflix diversity, equity and inclusion.
