Is there BDSM in this?
I can’t get past the first episode, but the posts here make me think there is no small amount of kink in the show. Is there much male domination/female submission in it?
shareNot really. There are several horrible rape scenes, but they are not supposed to be erotic.
There is also a scene where Jamie spanks Claire with his belt as a punishment for disobedience. He feels that it is his duty to do that. It's hardly really erotic, but very dramatic. Later, Claire gets her revenge on Jamie by threatening him by a knife when the have sex. This scene is considred as very erotic by many.
But otherwise, the sex scenes are consensual without BDSM elements, though often very steamy.
