Awesome Show

I recently discovered Outlander courtesy of Netflix. This is the ultimate binge watching tv show! I have gone through both seasons and I understand that season 3 will be making it's debut in September on Starz so I'm not sure how long it will take for it to show up on Netflix but I'll wait...I like it so much that I am re-watching it from the beginning!

I haven't read the read the books but it sure makes me want to pick them up! The actors who play the leading characters (Jamie and Claire) are so well suited for each other that you would think they're really an item...the chemistry is undeniable!

I started reading the books right after I saw the first episode. It was nice already having most of the characters in my head. I really enjoyed the first 2 books, but really like where the story goes in the 3rd book and beyond.

reply

Because I haven't read the books, I've seen some spoilers about season 3 and it hardly having Jamie and Claire together...not sure I like that...

I really hate Leoghaire...I think that's how you spell her name...I'm leery about her...lol

reply

Well, I'm not sure how spoilery those spoilers really are. The ones I've seen don't really give anything away. And keep in mind that this is the story of Jamie and Claire. They'll be together.

reply

It sounded like the 3rd season focuses a lot on Claire and Frank...I mean they show Jamie and Claire but not together....

I also read somewhere that Sam tweeted that he was happy to be back with his "wifey" again as he and Caitriona were going to be filming together again and this wasn't too far from when they wrapped up...

I keep thinking those two are dating but who knows?

reply

Season two isn't as interesting as season one. I dislike Claire so much more now.

reply

Yep. Dragonfly in Amber (Book 2) is definitely not my favorite book. It was pretty good, but I think Voyager (Book 3) is better.

So looking forward to Season 3 starting!

I hate the way Claire turned Jamie into her little bitch. He does whatever she wants. I liked her better when she was a damsel in distress because it humbled her.

and Droughtlander is officially over ... with the Starz App on Amazon. Loved the first episode!

reply

I can't wait to watch it tonight...just a few more hours...
