But lets be fair. I am not raciest but that is a double standard. You cannot have a white only cast because of feelings being hurt? And why is it okay to take classic tv shows & or movies & have a black cast? Imagine taking the show EMPIRE and making it with a white cast. People would be up in arms.

The Golden Girls, Friends, Sex and the City, etc. I don't remember anyone taking offense to that so I don't understand why having an all or majority black/minority cast is automatically seen as purposely shutting out white people. It's like the criticism over the recent Wiz Live special. Some said you could never get away with making an all white version except there already is one. The Wizard of Oz.

I understand times have changed. But you there are choices being made for argument sake & not for the sake of fairness. So what you are saying is, it is okay to have an all black/Asian cast with the exclusion of a minority. However, when there is a dominant white cast there has to be a black or Asian cast member to even it out to make everyone happy? Again, I am aware times have changed but I do not agree with it.

In this particular case on this particular show, I don't think it's unfair to have an all/majority panel of minorities. This is the first time I can recall such a thing happening on a show on a major network. It's also important to remember that one doesn't have to be a minority in order to like the show or its hosts. They discuss things that are relatable to everyone, despite race, gender or socioeconomic status.

I agree with your first comment on here mcrae_deluxe. And by ethic/diverse they mean 'not white' even though we can be diverse too because of different hair/eye colors, hair type (straight, curly, wavy, our freckles, and the whole pale white vs. tan white thing, and lets not forget about albinos! But it is their show...i like it though.
