That is interesting. I love the show and find it so much more watchable.

Hopefully they will attract a new audience.

I don't see The Real having a damn near 20 year run like The View.

I'm really perplexed as to why the show's ratings have dropped so much. The only difference between the show's first two seasons and this one is that Tamar's gone, but that's it. The producers are wisely keeping the four remaining co-hosts on (as opposed to playing musical chairs with an endless string of one-and-dones who fail to resuscitate a tired, stale show) and they have great chemistry. Most importantly, everyone is able to talk without being interrupted or having the conversation derailed with lip smacking and eye rolls. I hope that, like the show itself, the ratings improve.

Where I live the show got dropped for a while, and then they brought it back on MeTV so it's not even on a regular broadcast channel, and it's in a different timeslot. I'm sure there's folks who can't even find the show now. Wouldn't surprise me if similar things were happening in other regions.

Don't miss Tamar at all, but the show does work better with five hosts. They've recently been having a guest host sit in so I think the producers figured that out too.

Isn't MeTV the channel that plays reruns of old shows like MASH and Laverne and Shirley? It's odd that The Real would air there, but at least you've got it back.

I don't mind it when it's once or twice a week, but I like having just the four hosts. So far they've had some good fill-ins.
