I just got the game, and I put the game in expecting to have do an initial install update, but was shocked to see that the update was over 17Gb! Is this normal? I'm new to the PS4, but I never saw an update that big on my PS3. Has anyone else encountered this?

I don't have it on the PS4, but I'm sure that the 17gb includes all the patches up to 1.11, which also includes the free DLC. I think some areas were redesigned as well in order to make a more seamless transition for the Hearts of Stone expansion.
shareYep, perfectly normal for PS4. I just got the game a few days ago & was also floored with regards to the patch size. Took almost 3 hours to download & install.
