Was the secretary Natalie Canerday?
So I watched sling blade for the hundredth time yesterday, then last night in episode 4 of Quarry, the secretary at (I think) Quarry's wife's workplace sounded just exactly like Ms. Wheatley from sling blade! Just exactly like her, I say, and her voice is quite distinctive. The scene was when one-leg man posed as a cop and was looking for info on the couple.
I don't see her listed in the credits, but if that wasn't her it was her voice twin. Maybe she chose to be uncredited? Based on her lack of imdb photo, thinking perhaps she likes to lay low. I know she does live and work in the south.
