Why do I keep seeing so many people compare this to Banshee? Tried to watch that show. Had trouble making it through even the first episode. This is much better IMO. But still, I don't see why people are comparing the two in the first place. How are they connected?
shareShowrunner of Banshee and director of a number of episodes of Banshee is a director of all of the Quarry episodes. Also, number of production people from Banshee are working on Quarry. And the same channel (Cinemax).
shareBanshee is an entirely different show. There's no comparing the two outside of behind the scenes crew... All but the last season of Banshee were really well done... Gratuitous violence and excellent fight choreography is what made Banshee special. And good lead actors..
