QUARRY SEASON 1 > BANSHEE SEASON 1.

Banshee is for the stupid

Banshee was fun, but it's close to be an 'antihero superheroic situation'.

(Characters are mysterious, over the top, there are some 'vilain of the week', there a strong touch of 'easy effects' etc)

I enjoyed it.

'Quarry' is much more in Noir, desperate athmosphere.

The 'hero' is NOT in charge, he is 'strong and able' but NOT the strongest.

He is a cog in the machine, and fight to keep his head of the water...

I prefer Quarry, honnestly.

i won't say that the serie is more 'realistic' or whatever.

I think i can root for the main character, a good man that made atrocious choices.

Quarry and banshee are completely different. Banshee is more action driven with some badass fight scenes. Quarry is more of a crime drama. Both of them are equally good and cannot be compared because they are completely different. I can really relate to Quarry with being in war etc, while banshee was just a relaxing show to watch.
