Is Quarry canceled?

I just read that LMGreen will be starring in a USA drama for 2017. Does this mean that Quarry is canceled? (he wouldn't be on 2 series at once, I assume)

Is Green the lead in that show?

I think there's a high likelihood that Quarry could be cancelled. The ratings were extremely poor. Hunted had similar ratings and was cancelled after the first season. However, the only other show Cinemax has in their lineup is Outcast. So they might renew it for that reason alone rather than gamble on another new series. Time will tell.

Here in Norway, I watched it on HBO Nordic.

I don't know the distribution deals, of course, but I find it hard to believe that the live ratings on Cinemax is the be all and end all of the show's future.

I hope it's not cancelled, but if it is... at least we got a great finale that could have also served as the series finale. Sort of.

I hope not. That was the best television I have seen all year. Hands down. Whatever USA has in store for Green, it can't be better than this masterpiece.

I don't believe the 2nd season was 'canceled' since there hasn't been a plan to shoot a 2nd season, and that's a shame.

Like many others here - I'm eagerly awaiting any news if Quarry will return in 2017.

Even if there is a season 2, I don't think they can shoot and air the whole thing in 2017. Probably sometime in 2018.

Yeah - a very late 2017, or early 2018 is likely at this point if Cinemax does approve of a 2nd season.

I'm thinking there won't be a 2nd season.
