This movie vs Salmon fishing in the Yemen
Re-watched this after first seeing it when it originally came out and thought it was very good and underrated. The 90 minute run time was tight and just right, so it didn't have unnecessary sequences or sub plots to slow it down.
The cinematography, dialogue, humor, drama and cast all comes together perfectly. Hanks does a great job as always and carried the movie easily.
Couldn't help but notice the similarities it had with SFitY, which was also about a westerner traveling to the ME to meet up with a wealthy Arab as part of the job. But they are also very different movies.
As much as I liked this one, I liked SFitY more, because it had Emily Blunt and she looked amazing in it (Ewan McG also did a great job as always).
