Movies like this are why people think women aren't funny

Looks awful!

There's already a thread for people who want to say a movie they haven't seen proves that women aren't funny. It's just common courtesy not to clutter up the boards if you don't have anything original or interesting to say.

deal with it.

I'm hoping that appealing to your better nature as an IMDB community member would help you see that it's kind of rude to clutter up the message boards with repetitive material. That's all.

You can ignore me (or not) at your own whim or convenience.

That's how I'm choosing to "deal with it," your attempt at minimizing my opinion notwithstanding.

I'm also hoping you might see that citing a movie you haven't seen as proof that women aren't funny is kind of dumb. But if you don't care if people might see you as an irrational hater, then carry on.

They are funny, I liked The Heat a lot...but trailers for this wasn't that funny. I kinda like the actresses but the jokes were kinda flat. I wouldn't mind seem Mila Kunis and maybe Anna Faris or something like that in a similar one :)

The Heat was actually really good. I like it a lot more than Bridesmaids.

Agree with this. For me I felt like Bridesmaods was trying too hard but The Heat just had a natural comedic flow and I think the actresses worked together better.

This particular user has never had anything new to say... just constant complaints about everything. Very boring.

The Interview was awesome.

If movies with guys suck, do people think men arent funny?

It shouldn't matter. There are many funny men and women out there.
They just happen to be in some terrible movies. Put them in some good ones and they will thrive.

What about when Spy does great?

The only reason Spy will do great is because the public has already drank the Paul Feig Kool-Aid and will show up despite Feig making the same crap he has always made and showing no improvement and the fact that Melissa McCarthy will do the same shtick he's been doing as of recently. At least, McCarthy has the talent to do better and with Michelle Darnell, it might be the departure that will distance herself from those roles she's been playing so far.

And a sidenote, The Interview as a terrible movie. I have yet to see a funny movie from the Rogen/Franco tandem but I hold out hope.
