Why? I came into this game for the action, the excitement... Listen, kid, we're all in it together.
The funniest bit to me was how the newcasters kept describing Reese and Charo:
"Officer Cooper is 5 feet tall and her traveling companion is 40 years of age"
"Officer Cooper is 4 feet 11 inches tall and her traveling companion is 45 years of age"
"Officer Cooper is 4 feet 9 inches tall and her traveling companion is 50 years of age"
It's called a running joke and hardly justifies our time/money/attention.
