Whilst I enjoyed this mini series immensley I couldnt help thinking that how amazing it would have been to have used the original cast from P&P 1995!!

Although I do like Anna Maxwell-martin as an actress I thought she was unconvincing as Lizzie. I couldnt help thinking of Jennifer Ehle whilst watching.

I know all the original cast would be too old to play their original parts but that didnt stop them casting AMM who not only looks older than she is but is older than the character she portrayed.

Shelves in the closet - happy thought indeed!

Uh.... no.

Lydia is only 22 in this story. Julia Sawalha is 45 years old. She was hard to believe as Lydia when she was a 25-year-old playing a 15/16 year-old. It would be completely unbelievable now.
