Took a bit to get into...but I liked it.

This show took a minute to pull me in, but I am happy I stuck with it and watched it! It is hard, after watching the phenomenal Pride and Predjiduce, with Kiera knightly, and than watch a more droll, and sullen Elizabeth Bennett. I think though, with some suspension of disbelief, it was easier to get into. Although none of the banter and playfulness is present that we come to expect from Darcy and Elizabeth, I like to think that they are older, and less high strung than before.
The trial and mystery aspect is the real reason to enjoy this show! Just enough intrigue and mystery to keep it going. And with some real emotion mixed in there. Also one must applaude he series for being able to muster up some sympathy for a character that most of those who have read the book, or seem a film version, absolutely hate!
So in short...not amazing, but fun, and believable. An enjoyable weekend watch.
