Was There Something Under Elizabeth's Dress?

Wife and I just watched this, and in several scenes, there seemed to be a distinct outline of a large rectangle visible through the actor's dress, right over her midriff.

Anyone know what that was? It looked like she was smuggling a book or a tray!

Probably the busk in the corset.

If there aren't any skeletons in a man's closet, there's probably a Bertha in his attic.

Every dress she wore was that one shade of green. It looked like she only had one dress.
