What is it with Christians and football? For some reason they seem to associate the two as though Jesus would give a shit who wins or plays a football game. Can someone tell me what the connection is because they add football to a lot of evangelical films.
This was utterly painful to watch, the acting was so BAD it actually made me angry.

shareGod doesn't care who wins or loses. But football is most popular in the conservative, traditional areas of the South and the Midwest, where Christianity is also popular (aka the Bible Belt). It wasn't the prayers at the goal post that helped Arkansas to an 8-0 start, it was the improvement in the O-line (led by Brandon) and in the work ethic of the whole team (inspired by his example.)
