Disappointing film

When I seen the trailer for Greater I loved it! I was very excited about the film as I'm a big lover of Sport Flicks. This film had so much potential to be a good movie but ended up being a mess at least in my opinion. Don't get me wrong the movie had a great message and I felt by the end of the movie I got to know about the player/person that was Brandon Burlsworth. The acting in this movie in my honest opinion was terrible. The pacing seemed sluggish making the film feel long and boring. The film focused too much on Religious beliefs and Marty's struggle that the movie lost direction. Wish it had focused more on Brandon's life instead of his death. Wasted potential of a film that had story that could have turned into a "Great" movie! Anyone else feel the same?
