I wish they would hurry up and put Red Machine aka Grizzly out. Backcountry was not bad, but not enough killer bear for me.

Hard to say what's better because these are completely different films. 'Red Machine' is a typical killer bear flick while 'Backcountry' is a slow drama and this bear is barely in it.

Grizzly was a complete joke. The acting and characters were so bad, it made you root for the bear the entire time. Not even in Backcountry's league.

Grizzly has far better actors. Billy Bob could out act the two annoying twits in this movie just by reading the phone book.

sorry to say but the good actors in grizzly did not save the movie.
it was all over the place. seriously.
Backcountry>grizzly

it starts a lil slow, but its worth it.

seen both movies by now. yes, while backcountry turns out to be a solid surival flick, red machine was pretty much garbage.

Backcountry beats Grizzly by a mile. Much more realistic. Grizzly bordered on the silly, in my opinion, where Backcountry was chilling. If you haven't seen it, you should!
