The last 30 minutes really saved this IMO. *SPOILERS*

Because up until then all we get is two idiotic characters who make one bad decision after another. I mean usually I can deal with it in horror movies, but here it just irked the hell out me, especially the boyfriend. When it was revealed that he secretly took the phone out of the woman's bag I was pretty much done with his character, and then him not telling her about the bear prints was pretty stupid aswell.

It also bothered me how they both chose to get drunk knowing their was a bear somewhere in the area, but I guess I should let that go a bit considering it did lead up to one hell of a gory scene. I'll admit that attack scene was very well done and disturbingly realistic, and from there the movie really takes off. It's well acted, although I didn't understand the point of Eric Balfour's character with that weird Irish accent. He's there for one creepy/menacing scene and then you never see him again until the very end. That seemed completely pointless and strange, but like I said the performances are good and the movie is exceptionally well shot.

I'd give it a 6/10 mainly for that last act.

Very idiotic decisions that make you want to verbally yell at the screen, but the reality is they aren't far fetched by any means. All of those decisions I can easily see be replicated by many people.

Whao, joke or not, this is actually a really good idea as it attracts attention ,resulting in rescue, and you wouldn't have to deal with no dam bear!

I disagree. Bad acting. Horrible actually.
