NOPE! (possible spoilers? idk)

I dont care about the lengthy reviews about how insightful and profound and the amazing meaning behind it...NOPE! Just NO.

I've seen this movie floating around hulu and finally gave it a go on netflix and i absolutely regret that. There are thousands of ways to be clever and make points without being so disgustingly vulgar and straight up incestuous about it.

I was kind of intrigued by the mother character and figured this movie might be a different way of dealing with the cliche cheating husband storyline but it sure as hell went left and kept going left until i got lost. I gave up trying to figure it out and just laughed at the absurdity, like i literally said these things out loud:

"Wait what?! So he's not helping her?? I thought he was a good kid? Ugh he's sick too!"

"Should i have sympathy for a sluttacious woman who feeds off sex? Im torn."

"Okay yall just nasty. Everybody freakin everybody up in there!"

"He stole that guys dick!?! LOL"

"Oh the mom is finally back...the sons been in jail and everything else and she comes back in the same dirty clothes...Ok, ill go with it"

"Youre kidding right? the boy got a boner from his dads dick...for his mom tho? whuuuut??? lol"

"AW gross, her son? HER SON! Bruh."

"Theyre dead? REALLY!--OH! ..so is his dick, AGAIN!"

"Yeah...im done, im so DONE"

Couple of things.

1) Your description of your responses to this film were so funny that and so ludicrous that I didn't think anything you were saying was actually true about this film. So... well done... I guess?

2) I actually looked up the synopsis of this movie (most of it anyway) and realize everything you said was true.

3) Much like after having read the synopsis for A Serbian Film, I'll be disturbed for a while. But at least I know what movie I'll never, ever watch. So thanks for your insightful description of this film.

(By the way, based on other reviews it sounds like this director is trying to one-up Miike in terms of creating disturbing films. Not a really cool thing to be doing).
