Actually pretty good
I've seen tons of shark films and it's no jaws but it's better than most of the others.

i agree it's a very solid film. the shark effects were very well done too.
shareI agree. It's a solid third or fourth place on the list of shark films for me, with Jaws and The Shallows as the easy top two and either In the Deep or Jaws 2 in third or fourth. Two good shark films in one year! Wow!
shareAgree, great shark film, fantastic premise, I liked it even better than The Shallows, which I though was great. Unfortunately In The Deep will suffer at the box office due to its lack of star power, The Shallows had a rising star and In The Deep had Matthew Modine whose career never recovered from Cuthoat Island, pity. So spread the word, IN THE DEEP is a great shark movie, one of the best in the genre.

shareWow, this was a really good movie. My entire family were on the edge of our seats. They really set a suspenseful atmosphere with an almost first person look while swimming in the murky/dark deep water. Several things were unrealistic and of course they went over board on sharks being the aggressors but it just upped the entertainment value for sure. I really can't think how they could have made it any better. They could have had more shark attacks but then it becomes even less realistic and can become sort of comical. I don't comment on movies very often but wanted to promote what I just saw. One of the best shark movies I've ever seen and highly recommended. I'd rate it a solid 9/10, which is very high for me.
