And I thought when they heard the boats engine that they were going to abandon them down there seeing as the boat and cage looked so dodgy anyway. Kinda wish this is what had happened because even if they got to the surface the boat would be gone and it would be kinda like open water with no hope of survival and they could of thought they were going to live but then realised they were doomed.

A question tho.. did javier just drop his flashlight by accident? I didn't really understand what was going on and why he didn't talk to them. Except to get one of them out of the cage I don't understand the point of that.

It seems he dropped it then carried on looking for them, went out of reach so couldn't hear them but later found Lisa - where he then dies.

I liked the hallucination twist but i also like your abandoning idea which would be similar to Open Water. Although, Open Water 3: Cage Dive was released this year too - i haven't seen it but perhaps that kind of story line happens in that.
