This thread is for laughs despite it all being true.

Now that Disney has erased almost all of the EU as canon and left behind only the movies, Clone Wars, and Rebels there is a lot of great stuff that is gone from canon and some questionable stuff that is.

Id like people to make posts giving an example of what is gone and what is in. Some of this may be funny. Some may make you shake your head.

....or no one will respond and the thread will die. Hey I tried. ;)

Both are pretty bad :D

The Vongs were a decent idea very badly handled.
Quarrie looks silly but at least we see him for twenty minutes, not twenty novels ^^

It's not telling people that. It's just telling audiences what impacts the overall story and what doesn't.

Honestly, most of the things outside the main films don't have any impact storywise and won't be referenced. It's just filler.

They can write an adventure that Han and Chewie had against a Darth Vader clone in between Episode 6 and 7, that cost Han his ship and forced him to get a new one that we see in Episode 7. Technically it impacts the plot because that new ship is in the movie, but does it really?

Those space whales was really weird. How can a living creature live without oxygen? No oxygen in space, only vacuum. So how can they survive?

I am a fan of TV crossovers. It connects different shows and puts them into same universe
