Is every episode slated to run an hour now?

Did they change the run time?

reply

Presumably just the premiere.

reply

The premiere is labeled as episodes 1 and 2 of season 3.

The world is a mess and I just... need to rule it.

reply

I could only see the premiere being an hour long and of course it could be divided into a 2 part episode.

Metallica, Iron Maiden and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fan.

reply

Nope, it's just that until now each season of Rebels has had the same format:
-A 40 minutes episode (1 hour including commercials, I suppose), labelled a TV movie.
-12 to 24 20 minutes episodes.

Steps into Shadow was the TV movie of Season 3.

I think an 80 or 90 minute animated movie would be a great bookend to the series, whenever that comes, with a bigger budget and whatnot. I mean the end of the series is pretty much very shortly before the events of Episode IV, probably taking place simultaneously with Rogue One..

reply

I would like that too. Either a single 80 minute film or a trilogy of TV movies ^^
Something big, to allow for proper pacing of the final story of the Ghost crew (Or whoever we're following then is they decide to shift focus like they mentionned they might in interviews)

I nice hour-long season opener and closer would be nice, with maybe an hour special in the middle for some big event. And a film in theaters giving us Pixar-quality CGI, would be nice.

I'm only like every other fan: I ask for too much. ;-)

I would love a movie to close out the characters. Get Lando, Yoda, and Vader involved. All original actors would be down.
