How will Canaan and Ezra "die"?

It seems very unlikely that the 2 Jedi in this series, Canaan and Ezra will continue beyond the end of SW: Rebels. We know that at least Hera and Chopper do because they are included in Rogue One. How would you speculate Ezra and Canaan come to their end?

(I have my own fanfic theory about this but I'd love to hear yours).

Here's a thought....what if they are frozen in carbonite and then unfrozen decades later? Could be quite interesting.

Ezra can live on as long as he doesn't become a full-fledged Jedi, though if he does he can only live till Return of the Jedi (that's the point when Yoda is truly last of the Jedi).
