So most of the time when I think of revenge movies I think about overly violent films like Kill Bill.
So I was wondering if anybody can think of other similarly themed movies that are not necessarily violent but still at their core about revenge?

shareI haven't seen it yet but it reminds me of "The Seagull's Laughter" from Iceland. A woman returns in the 1950's after marrying an American officer years earlier. She is a fashion plate that shocks the local people and her family. She likes to dress up and share fashion tips with the women shocking many in her hometown.
There is also revenge and murder involved.
