Any Oscar buzz?
This was released in the US in September 2016 making it eligible for Academy Awards in Feb 2017. Have we heard any Oscar buzz, particularly for Judy Davis as supporting actress?
shareAs much as I'd love it to get some Oscar recognition, I don't think it will get it. The critic reviews were very mixed and there are other films choking out The Dressmaker's quality. And since it has already been released, I don't think it will have a chance to shine through.
