Yes, I agree. It had suspense, excitement, adventure, and a good story. I enjoyed it enough to watch it again.

Kids track down hacker. They get affected by aliens. They try to escape the facility where they're being kept.
None of the dialogue seems to make much sense. People jump to conclusions ("2+3+5+41 = Area 51! Duh!" and "I just happen to know that your facility is completely outdated, funded by the government and incompetently run - just because") and yet don't ask obvious questions. "I won't talk until I get to see my girlfriend. Okay now I've seen her I'll cooperate." How about refusing to talk until they tell you what the hell is going on? Would it kill you to actually CARE why you are being imprisoned by weird scientists?
No it doesn't. I almost rated it a 5, but I a overly nice and gave it a 6. I am VERY generous with ratings, rating about everything a 7+, too. Only a few films do I rate lower than a 7. But I can't be crazy enough to rate this over a 6.
