What do you think ? Because seriously, that ending was whacked. It didn't answer anything, it just stopped there.

Also, why could not Hailey get some cool powers too ? She didn't have to play damsel in distress for one hour.

Doesn't look like it.

But check out the interview with the director at http://www.geekadelphia.com/2014/06/12/an-interview-with-william-eubank-director-of-the-signal-interview/. At the end of the interview he says that a single movie like "The Signal" isn't large enough for the entire story. He has a sequel already plotted out.
