So the old woman in the car was an x-ian. At some point the aliens must have had a conversation with her and hear about the lord of the universe who was here on this planet and more specifically in ancient palestine, Jebus Christ.
Why aren't the aliens showing signs of conversion to christianity throughout the movie, or is it gonna be on the sequel?
She knew about "them" watching. My questions are: Why kill her? Why was she not augmented?

They killed her because she was broken goods. Too much experimented on, no use for her anymore.
shareAs for religion, I'm sure they have run across many faiths, including many just from abducting earthlings. I don't feel they care at all about something's like that, when they have a better understanding of how the universe works.
shareIt appears the aliens don't have a religion, so when they're exploring human reactions and feelings, they may be curious about this thing called faith. Believing in something that is no longer on earth? Just speculating.
