Didn't realize his legs were "fake" for how many days?

I really liked the movie, it was pretty cool it started out very interesting and ended rather neat. But please explain to me how the kid did not realize his legs were modified for like 2-3 days or however long after being abducted. I don't know about you, but sure the kid wasn't walking around in the "hospital" as he was in a wheelchair, but did he not go to take a leak or poop for that long of a time too? He didn't change his clothes, okay understandable.. but I'd imagine even people bound to wheelchairs will put their hands on their laps, knees, etc... just the only thing that mindbottled me!

I thought this as well but after thinking it probably only happened the day he noticed. They were doing different experiments on him at different stages. The day he noticed was probably leg day?

I agree with that. When we see him on the table he just underwent surgery and was waking up the first time.

I don't think he was without legs the whole time he was there. They took them from him right before he discovered them.

If I remember rightly he couldn't really move at all at first...
