I really liked this film

I find Jenny Slate to be very cute and funny.

I know 'abortion' is a sticky subject, but I don't think that's what this movie is totally about. It's definitely a major theme, but it's also about relationships, break-ups, truth about your draws, being socially awkward, feeling lost as you edge closer to 30 years (the age you always thought you'd have it all figured out), friendship...

Donna's stand up about abortion and sex isn't poking fun at the topics, but the character's way of dealing with things; she makes jokes. That's her thing. And part of it was having an emotional break-down of sorts that just happened to be in front of an audience.

There are definitely some things that I'd write differently if I was the writer/director, but this is the directors feelings/ideas. That's what makes it her art. I gave this film 10/10.

This is just my feeling toward the film. I understand and respect those that feel it's distasteful.
