I think it's a shame that 'fans' can't appreciate how far England have come. I'm old enough to remember when England failed to even qualify for major tournaments, whereas now its fairly routine.
What England needs now is consistency - they've proved that on a good day, they can beat anyone, however, it depends on which team turns up on the night because I've seen some questionable performances in the last 12 months.
