izzy is back!!
watching season 6 episode 1 (Beachside Beauty) nice to see izzy again! been a long time

shareI wonder if that whole incident of him "getting fired" was for real or if it was just for TV? If it was for real, I'm glad the bad feelings have been taken care of because like everyone else, I really like Izzy. Let's hope he stays this time... if they need to lose someone, I could stand to see less of Tarek!
Well Tarek has said before numerous times on the show that Izzy is their usual contractor, and that they usually work on many different houses simultaneously at the same time so often they have to hire numerous different contractors at the same time to work on different properties. As for the part about Izzy being "fired"...well, I think he was just "fired" from that particular house the couple were flipping in that episode, but Tarek did say in the same ep that he will hire Izzy to work on their other house flips, so he wasn't really "fired", the couple merely just transferred him to their other flip projects. Tarek has said numerous times in the past that Izzy is often too busy working on the couple's numerous other house flips so he doesn't always appear on the show. With their many house flip projects that the couple work on simultaneously, I'm sure they only film the most interesting house flips for the show, and clearly Izzy doesn't always work on all the houses that are featured on the show.
Thanks, Scrystal. I haven't watched every single episode of the show, especially not in order, so I just remember seeing Izzy looking hurt and kind of stunned when he asked Tarek "Are you firing me?" I never heard the whole story of that incident but was really happy to see Izzy back on TV this season. Like you said, he's probably been there the whole time but he's just been absent from the show.
