Finally got to watch it

I'll say this first: It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either.

Now, I went into this movie expecting the bad acting so when it did come about I just dismissed it so as to not take away from the overall effect of the movie. Thank god I did, because I wouldn't have enjoyed it at all if I had not taken this precaution. The only person who seemed realistic in my opinion was the Gas Station attendant, and one of the girls in the first story. That's about it. So lets move beyond that.

Art himself the clown, I actually found funny while what he was doing was absolutely horrible the manner in which he went about it tickled me. So it was
a good balance of "fear" and "Clown". Granted I did not find him scary in the slightest, but as the movie itself I got that he was.

Having seen movies that have films overlapping a full story (such as VHS and it's series) I did enjoy that they all tied in via Art. Which I will explain below.

***spoilers****

Remember I've already stated this movie wasn't great but there was one scene that I found amazing. After viewing all the short films the babysitter gets a phone call and it's revealed to be the girl in the car on a previous short film. Which then relates to it being the babysitter's voice you heard in the short film with the distorted audio. This relates as she becomes part of a short film at the end, but since that already happened in a previous one it shows that she was already part of one for a good while and just did not know it.

That right there was actually a really good move in an otherwise kind of cut and dry movie.

Would I suggest watching this? For free yes, and only once that's all it will take.
