Man in Yellow card... what was he?

At first, I thought he was symbolic of a Gatekeeper or something, and so he knew Jake shouldn't be there. Then the Sadie facial operation episode made me think he was DEATH. As it turns out, he's a fellow time-traveler caught in his own loop. So my question is, if he's nothing powerful, not a gatekeeper, not Death, etc. Then how the heck does he just manifest himself into Jake's car, seemingly replacing Sadie's sleeping body, so they can have that conversation where we find out he's also a time traveler? That part made no sense. Kinda silly to nitpick certain parts and say it makes no sense, when you're talking about a Time Travel movie. But nevertheless, that part was kind of random.

Can someone shed more light?

There are several threads here on the topic, most have "yellow card" in the Subject name so they should be easy to spot.

One thing I will note now, his reason for being was TOTALLY different in the book, so the way the series went with him surprised book-readers the most.

Just scroll around a bit and you'll find the previous discussions on this :-)

EDIT: Ugh! Then again, maybe not. I see they already purged a lot of discussion from this forum. It really ticks me off as THIS forum is barely 2 years old and didn't really have that many pages of threads. Hopefully though there is still enough of the previous Yellow Card Dude threads still here.

Thanks for answering the OP's question...oh wait, you didn't...you just ambled on as if you were important (Which, by the way, you are not ). Stupid - foolish, gullible, doltish, dumbbell... Need input!
