In the book Jake writes a manuscript during his last time in '58 and buries it in a lockbox. It is never brought up again, what is the outcome of this? Does he find it in 2011 and this is what we are reading? Why does he risk the butterfly effect staying 3 weeks in '58 to write this, and leave this story hidden in time for 53 years? Fantastic novel and looking forward to watching this series....this is the only missing piece for me. (???)

Wow. I do not remember this at all.

Which chapter(s) of the book mention this. I want to re-read or re-listen.

Lots of changes in the series. Be prepared and be open to the fact that it's 9 hours whereas the audio book was 44 hours or so.
