Oswald's House at 214 West Neely Street

I'm talking about the double storey house where Oswald and Marina live with Jake & Bill downstairs on 214 West Neely Street.

Is the house on the show the real one or was it a set? I can't find any info on that.

Looking at Google maps street view it looks like the actual house has been recently repainted and I was thinking maybe the producers had done that to spruce it up for the show (or maybe the owner had just done that).

Anyway, does anyone know if the house on the show was just from a set or they used the real deal? Thanks in advance.

In the months before the airing of the series, advance info released from the producers mentioned that they films at the actual locations, including the infamous photo of LHO posing with THE rifle in his back yard.

So all those outside scenes where Oswald and Bill are on the front porch looking at Oswald's gun (and Jake thinking Bill might be the second shooter) and also when Jake loses his memory and he and Sadie go to the Oswald house thinking it might trigger a memory were filmed at Oswald's actual house?

That's awesome!! I'm a history nerd and as soon as I saw the backyard I thought They did a fantastic job at recreating the spot where he'll eventually pose with the rifle. I didn't know it was the real property.

I was thinking it must have been surreal for the older residents of Dallas to see Dealey Plaza recreated for the motorcade exactly as it had looked in 1963.
