Was it just me or did it bother anybody that the actor who played Bill had an obvious British accent when he's suppose to be from Kentucky. Definite miscast. I mean the guy is a good actor but the accent was really visible.

The actor who played Lee Harvey Oswald is Australian and his accent was very distracting throughout the series, more so than Bill's.
I also couldn't figure out why some of the characters were using Southern accents rather than Texan ones.

Yup, I know the actor who played Oswald is Australian, but his accent was almost like a European speaking English. Oswald was born in Louisiana! While Bill was a pretty dumb character the actor who played him was pretty good.
