What's that song in episode 7?

I'm trying to find a song in episode 7, "Soldier Boy." The song is not listed anywhere online with the episode's song titles. About a half hour into the episode, Jake stands on the front porch, thanking Sadie for taking care of him. The scene cuts to them preparing a meal in the kitchen, and the song plays in the background. It sounds like a country song and is sung by a guy.

The lyrics--what I can make out--have these words, I think:
"but now we have grown old, those days are passed"

I tried. Listened very intently for about 30 minutes, Googling lyrics I could make out

~ There's a cabin on the hill
~ now we have grown old
~ the one I held so (close?)

and I struck out.

Found a few songs with "cabin on the hill" but all are relatively new.

The song in the episode is totally unfamiliar to me.

I am in a Facebook group for the show and the screen writer is in the group (well, at least she was, unsure now). I'll ask there.
