I think that is a trend with many shows these days, and we will see even more of....production costs have gotten so high. Hallmark probably isn't backed as much financially either as the larger networks nor do they get as many advertisers..their shows appeal to a certain audience. I have seen a couple of promos for the upcoming season and I think starting in January we will see more, but, I think a lot of it is unfortunately about money and profit. They do get quite a lot of interest on Twitter and Facebook and both Erin and Daniel, and the show itself, do some promoting on their Facebook pages, which is nice. But there are very few shows now that have 20-25 eps...its just gotten too expensive to produce. I think too the writers run out of things to write about and just can't provide that many shows and hold interest. I do wish there wasn't such a huge span of time between episodes. I am hoping this upcoming season will be at least 16 eps and not just 12. They did move up the premiere date from May to April at least but it is still too long to wait..I agree on that note. I bought the DVDs recently and have been watching them everyday. When I watched it while airing I did not DVR any of it so I was very happy when the DVDs finally came out...took way too long. So my interest now has been sparked even further than it already was.
