Ha! I do and no one does...sigh....

I still get a laugh when I think of There's a bear, a deer and a skunk!

There are a few fans on tumblr, Facebook has a pretty active page and I think someone created a fan forum. But you're right, it's not like some other popular shows.

I think it's a great show. Reminds me of Little House but more modern and relatable. Jack and Elizabeth were a lot of fun this season- watching their attraction grow to genuine affection. It's a little cliche, but that's ok. Sometimes I want a little cliche in my TV:)

Yes, it is cliche and everyone keeps saying that but you know what? I"m tired of dancing, surviving, games of ...
I won't apologize for liking this show. It deserves the praise.

I really love this show. Sort of Little House and Road to Avonlea rolled into one. The books are sweet and the series is based very loosely on the books. I'm looking forward to next season. There had BETTER be a next season!

Avonlea! That is what it reminds me of. I loved that show!

Yes, I hope we hear word soon. Then we will have to wait another year to actually see it again. Something to look forward to!

I would like to talk about it. I love this show....really love it. I just bought the DVDs and have been watching them over and over. When I watched the first ep, it didn't completely resonate with me,but, by the third or fourth show I was loving it and was totally hooked. I didn't even like Jack right at the beginning. Imagine that.I adore him now and he and Elizabeth as characters share great chemistry and I love the old fashioned romance between them...the slow brewing kind. I also love the character of Abigail..she is sorta the matriarch of the town and highly respected. I like how Lori Loughlin plays her and think she does a wonderful job with the role. Some of those child actors playing Elizabeth's students are fantastic. I think Erin Krakow was destined to play this character and Daniel Lissing is perfection in the role of Mountie Jack. I did especially like the bear, the deer and the skunk story. Too funny.

I got S1 on amazon and I've watched it 2x now and adore the story!

I'd love to talk about S1. There is a lot to talk about and looking forward to S2! It's about 3 weeks away, but I have AT&T and they don't offer Hallmark channel. I'll find another way to find the series.

Schmaltzy? Naw, it's wholesome and the length of time they developed their courtship is more realistic than these long-drawn will they or won't they shows. It's been such a wonderful change of scene for me and I don't even watch that much tv.

I'll try to start a thread on my views of S1 and hope others will join. - River

and are you referring to S1 or S2?

Have you seen any of the S1 episodes?
