I just started watching this show on Xfinity on demand. I was surprised that women were allowed to go into the mines since it is a well known superstition that women were bad luck in mines. The writers should do a bit of research an superstitions because miners had a lot of them.
Coal Miners have lots of superstitions? Can you tell me a few, I think that is interesting. My great grandfather, my grandfather, my dad and my husband all were coal miners most of their adult lives and I have never heard this, but that would not be unusual as they would not tell them to us so we wouldn't be afraid of them.
I did hear that if your light went out while underground, it meant your wife was home with someone else...which we all know is credulous! LOL But I think it would be fun to hear a few, well fun for me. I guess you have to be interested in Coal Mining to begin with.
