Did a family move away?

Maybe this has been asked, and I missed it, but did one of the main families move and they just haven't bothered to mention it? I can't remember everybody's names, but it's the mom, oldest son Gabe, younger son and daughter. The mom was accused of burning the church.

They were fairly involved in season 1, and now it seems like they've disappeared entirely. I vaguely feel like we saw one of the kids early in season 2, but I can't remember for sure. And now in episode 6 the boys definitely weren't in class with Rosemarie, but I'm pretty sure the daughter was there.

Maybe it's just that they've thrown a dozen new, useless characters and plotlines in so some of the originals are being pushed aside and "disappearing" for the most part.

I noticed as well. But everything has changed.... it's almost like a different show, nothing is the same.

So No, you missed nothing. They didn't have an episode bidding farewell to some main characters... they just ignored them, probably thinking no one would notice.
