Is season 2 worth watching?

I'm currently in the middle of season 1 and loving it, but I've read so many bad things about season 2 (mostly about costumes/hair/makeup) that I'm starting to think I should stop at the end of season 1... I'm mainly watching for Lori Loughlin and Abigail is my favorite character, so with that in mind, do you think season 2 is worth watching? Is season 3 better? I would never skip a season, but if season 3 has made improvements, I'm sure I could suffer through a bad season... Thanks in advance for your advice!

Honestly, I would say you probably just skip most of Season 2. I'd recommend watching the final episode of Season 2 (especially if you enjoy the Jack/Elizabeth relationship) and the special episode - takes place around New Year's Eve. Another option is to watch all of Season 2 ready to fast forward through a lot of scenes. They introduced way too many side characters that I thought had very poorly written stories (that you can easily skip over and not miss out on anything).
Season 3 has been pretty decent so far. I'm still not a fan of some of the new characters (Rosemary in particular really drives me crazy), but they seem to have gotten back to some of what I loved about Season 1.

Also, Abigail continues to be a great character! She has been consistently fun/enjoyable to watch.

I'd say just go ahead and watch it just so you know what's going on.

Well, season 2 is better than season 3 so far...
