Who did they get to costume the show because it's bad. Really bad. So bad i have to look away in some scenes. Some of these items look like they come from the 1970's. Grandma's brocade curtains were ripped off the wall, wrapped around the actress and called a skirt. BLECH!

shareLOL If you this is bad for accuracy & look too modern, you should see the CW show Reign. Reign is supposed to be about Mary Queen of Scots an set in the 1500s...but most of the gowns Mary & the other girls wear could be evening gowns and prom dresses of today.

shareMy favorite anachronism in clothing was Sunday when Brooke Shields was wearing a very, very modern print scarf around her neck in the loop fashion--straight from every photo shoot or street corner near you!
Or any mannequin in any store in any western country.
For cripes sake.
They not only don't try, they are working overtime to use modern clothing.
I like the way all the men are dressed in J Crew and Gap. And Abercrombie and Fitch....
I just don't see a 50 year old woman in the 1910's wearing pants in public.
