Season 2 Finale (spoiler!)

I have to say that season 2 was absolutely terrible overall. So many unnecessarily dramatic complications, not the least of which was the final scene with Charles proposing right before Jack was going to. In the first season I was all wrapped up in the budding romance between Elizabeth and Jack. I was so excited when they went on their first real date, and then again with their first kiss. By the end of season 2 I barely cared when they proclaimed their love for one another, and yet in season 1 I was dying for that to happen. The writers messed up a perfectly good romance. Why do they always feel that drama will make it more exciting? In this case they simply killed the romance and then brought it back again too late. Only to throw in some more drama again. Ugh!

I feel your pain! I hate how these two can never get it together. They have a serious communication issue and so many of their problems wouldn't exist if they'd take the time to clear things up with EACH OTHER instead of jumping to conclusions and letting it fester. So much unnecessary drama that I don't even care if they ever get married. They'll go round and round in circles before they figure it out smh. They'll finally get engaged by season 7. Married by season 13 lol

Actually it took Dr. Ogden and Detective Murdoch until episode 100 in the Murdoch Mysteries show.
